what we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect only what you give us and a small amount of technical context:

  • your email address — required, so we can contact you about access.
  • your course niche (optional) — either a selection from our list of topics, or a short free-text description if you choose “something else.”
  • how you’re joining (optional) — whether you picked “creator,” “learner,” or “just curious.”
  • signup source — a campaign or referral tag (e.g. utm_source) read from the link you arrived on, if present.
  • a timestamp — when you joined.

We do not ask for your name, payment details, or any sensitive information at the waitlist stage.

02

why we collect it

Your email is used to confirm your spot on the waitlist and to send you updates about larpmaster — including a welcome email and a note when access opens for you. If you tell us your niche, we use it to tailor those updates and to draft a personalized questline (a sample course outline) for your topic.

The signup source helps us understand where people are finding us. It is used in aggregate; it is not used to build an advertising profile of you.

03

how it's stored

Your signup is stored in a database operated for larpmaster. Access is limited to the people who run the project. We take reasonable measures to protect it, but no system is perfectly secure.

We never sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

04

email & third parties

Emails are delivered through a third-party email provider acting on our behalf. That provider processes your email address solely to deliver our messages and is not permitted to use it for its own purposes.

We may use other service providers (for example, hosting and database infrastructure) strictly to operate the waitlist. We share only what those providers need to do that job.

05

cookies & tracking

This site does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. It uses only what is essential to function. If we ever add analytics or other cookies, we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.

06

your choices

You can unsubscribe from larpmaster emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message we send. Unsubscribing stops the emails; to also have your data deleted, see below.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at [PLACEHOLDER: contact email]. We will remove your record from the waitlist on request.

07

data retention

We keep your waitlist record until the waitlist program ends or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum needed to honor that request (for example, to avoid re-adding you).

08

contact

larpmaster is operated by [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity]. For any privacy question or request, contact [PLACEHOLDER: contact email]. This policy is governed by the laws of [PLACEHOLDER: jurisdiction]. Effective date: [PLACEHOLDER: effective date].
